Most network administrators at work, university or school deny access to file sharing or instant messaging services with a firewall or proxy server. Step 3: Speed up your internet connection (optional)
Instant messaging does not require much bandwidth, but file sharing applications such as Kazaa work best with high-speed internet connections. While the free version of hopster can transfer a 3 MB file in about 45 minutes, you can speed up your connection with hopster PLUS to download the same 3 MB file in 5 minutes or less.
